UEFA Champions League: Atletico Madrid Vs AFC Barcelona

Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are currently the two best teams in the world, according to Rojiblancos president Enrique Cerezo.

The pair have met four times already this season and there has been no separating them, with the Liga duo having drawn each and every single game, with their latest meeting, last week's Champions League quarter-final first-leg clash at Camp Nou having ended 1-1.

Cerezo acknowledges that there is nothing to chose between the two sides but is nonetheless confident that Atletico will get by the Blaugrana and go on to meet city rivals Real Madrid either in the last four or next month's final in Lisbon.

"Atletico will play a superb game [against Barca], we're going to do great at the Vicente Calderon," the Rojiblancos supremo told COPE.

"If we get through then we will surely face Real Madrid at some point. On Wednesday, the two best teams in the world will play in Atletico and Barca."

Atletico's star striker, Diego Costa, is a major doubt for the second leg with a hamstring problem picked up in Catalunya next week and Cerezo admitted, "I do not know if we will play him."

Atletico lead La Liga by one point over Barca, with the Blancos lagging a further two points behind in an enthralling three-way tussle for the 2013-14 crown.
