Wanyama has been heavily linked with a switch to Arsenal this summer, while Newcastle, Southampton and Stoke are also tracking the all-action Kenyan star.
The 21-year-old could be available for as little as £10 million as he
looks to inch away from SPL champions Celtic, with the Emirates a
possible destination.
And Ramsey has wasted no time in
showering praise on Wanyama, telling the Gunners to move quickly to sign
him ahead of next season.
"Of course, I don’t have a say on who joins us at the Emirates, but if Arsenal get to sign Victor Wanyama, I will be the first to welcome him," said the Welshman.
"I have watched him play for Celtic, I watched him score against Barcelona and I think he is a great player.
"Whether he will join us is for other people to decide.
