In an interesting twist of events, it is now clear that Kenya's prolific Striker and Captain since 2002; Dennis Oliech would no longer be enjoying the privileges of being Captain to the besieged Harambee Stars.

An to put it in a better mode, Here is how the story flowed and reported on Super Sport.
'Harambee Stars coach Adel Amrouche has effected sweeping changes in the national team by stripping team skipper Dennis Oliech off the captaincy.

Amrouche had hinted to supersport.com on Tuesday that he was considering confirming stand in skipper Victor Wanyama as captain in place of the Ajaccio striker.

"I think it’s time to make changes to the team and I can assure you I will ensure Victor Wanyama remains as the Harambee Stars captain even after the suspension of Dennis Oliech is lifted," Amrouche told supersport.com.

Amrouche has been irked by Oliech’s late arrival to arrive in camp as well as his role in the team’s off field activities adding that he was not being a good role model to other players.

Oliech was appointed skipper by former coach Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee. He has been ever present in the national team since making his debut in 2002 and is the all time leading goalscorer.'
