David Moyes |
The
English premier league Champions and giants are set to name David Moyes; the
current Everton boss to replace the retiring Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester
United.
Reliable
sources have confirmed to Game Yetu that Manchester United players learned at
the Manchester United’s Carrington training ground that it is Moyes who has
been lined up to take over from Sir Alex .
Noticeably,
Everton Club management have disputed the information and cited it as rumors
since no premier league, let alone Manchester United, have approached them to
negotiate Moyes’ release. However, it is reported and understood that the Scot
has agreed on terms for takeover at the club.
Moyes
who is currently aged 50 years is a close and a personal friend to Sir Alex
Ferguson. However, he has not won any trophy since moving to Goodison Park in
March 2002. Interestingly, Moyes has established Everton Football Club as a
top-six club during his eleven years reign.
It is
on record that in 2001-2002 season, Sir Alex had announced his intention to
retire, only to turn around and thwart that decision, since he felt that club
had destabilized following the announcement.
