team colours when they face Malawi in a World Cup qualifier next week.
Oliech who watched from the terraces as the team lost 1-0 to Nigeria
believes they have what it takes to collect maximum points in Blantyre.
“I will be available in the next match and we want to win so that we can give our fans something to savour.”
“We have to take each game at a time and not rule out our chances as much as the odds might be against us.”
“This is a very young team and we should focus on nurturing it then we can deliver in time when we strike the balance.”
He also spoke on what he wants to achieve for his side as the skipper.
“As the captain, I want my team to go places and reach tournaments
that evade us. We can only do this by working as a unit and striving to
improve.”
The former Mathare United striker is Kenya’s all -time top scorer.
