After having endless troubled
times at the den, AFC Leopards have finally fired their coach Pieter De Jongh.
The Dutch man, who took charge
of AFC Leopards from James Nandwa, never made an meaningful impact on the team
and his sudden sacking was reached at last Sunday in a low key event which was
the club’s special general meeting.
Announcing the sacking, the
club’s Chairman, Allan Kasavuli reported that “We have sent the entire
technical bench packing. De Jongh will not be part of the team next season,”
Kasavuli said at the meeting. “We have begun rebuilding and we want to get
things right before the New Year,”
